Biography
As an undergraduate at nontraditional Goddard College, Jay delved into experiential learning via Western (psychotherapy, group therapy, psychodrama), and Eastern (spiritual traditions) methods, and also studied brain structure and function. Fast-forward to today, he’s in private practice as a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, and families, a career and executive coach, educational and organizational consultant, as a psychodiagnostician, with a specialization in learning and attention disorders, and consultant for therapists and diagnosticians. As a student of human nature and in his work with people, Jay sees value in many theories and methods, but is intensely skeptical of any claims of “one size fits all.”
