Masters in Clinical Psychology

The Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology degree program at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Phoenix is designed to educate and prepare students to pursue doctoral studies in psychology. The master's degree in Clinical Psychology program introduces students to basic clinical skills that integrate individual and group theoretical foundations of applied psychology into appropriate client interaction and intervention skills. It offers excellent preparation for those considering application to the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology degree program. Career Outcomes The Argosy University, Phoenix Clinical Psychology program can prepare graduates for a social service career such as a Clinician or Counselor. Eligibility for Certification Graduates of the MA in Clinical Psychology program may wish to pursue certification in Arizona as a certified professional counselor (CPC). Additional coursework from the Mental Health Counseling program is required to qualify for certification. Upon completion of educational requirements, 3,200 hours of post-masters supervised practice is required.
