Biography
Dr. Melton received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology (ASPP) at Argosy University, Phoenix. She specializes in the areas of serious mental illness, diversity, adult psychopathology, psychotherapy and assessment. Dr. Melton is the Director of Clinical Training and Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at ASPP at Argosy University, Phoenix. Her clinical areas of interest include substance abuse, trauma disorders, depression, anxiety, and serious mental illness. Research interests include professional identity development, racial identity, and training in psychology. Dr. Melton is committed to mentoring students studying psychology and enriching them with knowledge on systemic issues affecting the field, training, and the treatment of clients.
