Biography

I am originally from Los Angeles California. I left Los Angeles to attend Harvard University where I received an ab cum laude. My undergraduate major was in Social Relations. I next attended the UC Berkeley, where I received a masters in Community Mental Health. My doctoral education was completed at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California in Social Clinical Psychology. My internship was completed at UCSF in community psychology. Lastly, I completed a three year postdoctoral fellowship in Psychology at UC Berkeley. I have been licensed as a psychologist in California for thirty years. I have worked both in clinical and academic settings. My greatest interests are in American Indian Psychology, Cross Cultural Counseling, and Humanist/ Experiential/ Transpersonal Psychology. I have held teaching positions at major universities including UC Berkeley, Stanford, and California State University.
