Biography

Dr. Maurin is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Argosy University, Washington, D.C., where she teaches courses in Cognitive Assessment, Personality Assessment, and Integrative Assessment. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 2006 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Miami's Mailman Center for Child Development and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Maurin also earned an M.H.S. in Maternal and Child Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in 2000. Prior to coming to Argosy, Dr. Maurin taught as an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University and she continues to provide assessment supervision to their doctoral students. Her research interests include health, pediatric, and primary care psychology, adjustment to trauma, post-partum depression, the impact of prematurity on family adjustment, and women's health issues.
