Mental Health Counseling Programs

The Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling program provides students with a foundation for the practice of mental health counseling, including theoretical and conceptual foundations with training in appropriate client intervention and therapy skills. The program emphasizes development of attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary for mental health counselors dedicated to providing ethical and quality services. A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is necessary for admission into this program.
