The Art Institute of California, a college of Argosy University, was originally founded as eight separate locations as part of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 50 educational institutions providing an important source of design, media arts, culinary arts and fashion professionals. The Art Institute of California became Argosy University’s college of art and design in 2012, bringing its rich history, culture and reputation in the state of California for educating creative students to the tradition, passion and history of Argosy University’s undergraduate and graduate-level programs.
