One Business School – Three Distinct Business Programs
There are three major areas of study within the College of Business – Business Administration, Management, and Organizational Leadership.
Business Administration Programs
The focus of the business administration programs is to teach with practicality in mind. Graduates of this programs will be prepared to seek entry-level positions. Previous college credits can be transferred. Please contact the admissions department for details.
Master’s and doctorate degree programs provide challenges for students that combine analysis, planning, and technology. Group leadership also plays an important role in this area of study. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs are geared toward working professionals and schedules permit the student to balance work, family, and study. Concentrations can be chosen that focus on Accounting, Information Systems, International Business, Management, and Marketing. These business university programs are available at all campuses.
Management Program
The Master of Science in Management (MSM) program is for students who wish to learn the leadership skills needed to run businesses large and small. The skills learned in this program focus on organization, evaluation, and implementing a plan of action. Students must already have a bachelor’s degree to enter the Master of Science in Management program.
Organizational Leadership Program
The College of Business also offers a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership degree. This doctoral degree is geared toward transformational leadership so faculty members of any business school can lead complex organizations. Some of the areas taught are in globalization, economic change, vast societal shifts, and relationships between individuals and organizations. The goals of the program are to develop leaders to become visionaries and innovators.
