Western State College of Law at Argosy University was originally founded in 1966 and, today, serves as the oldest law school in Orange County, California, boasting more than 11,000 alumni. Western State is known for its diversity, its strong and growing reputation and its commitment to ensuring a legal education for students that is focused on practical lawyering skills and hands-on experience to prepare students for the practice of law. In 2012, the law school formalized its long-standing relationship with Argosy University, changing its name from Western State University College of Law to Western State College of Law at Argosy University, merging its passion for the legal profession with the rich history, tradition and passion of Argosy University.
