NSLDS
The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the U.S. Department of Education's
(ED's) central database for student aid. NSLDS receives data from schools, guaranty
agencies, the Direct Loan program, and other Department of ED programs. NSLDS Student
Access provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and grants so that
recipients of Title IV Aid can access and inquire about their Title IV loans and/or
grant data.

The FAFSA is the main document used to apply for all types of student financial
aid. The form is available through the state and federal governments as well as
colleges and universities.

A comprehensive guide to financial aid, including information on types of aid, links
to applications, and calculators.
FastWeb
Allows students create a profile that is matched against an expansive database of
scholarship opportunities. The FastWeb database has over 600,000 scholarships totaling
more than $1 billion. FastWeb includes sweeps, promotions, and featured scholarships,
and proactively notifies students when new scholarships are added and application
deadlines are approaching.
The Student Guide from the US Department of Education
This guide provides a description of Federal student aid programs from the U.S.
Department of Education. Grants, loans, and work-study are the three major forms
