Program Information

The Argosy University, Chicago Psychoanalytic Psychology certificate program provides specialized training in psychoanalytic psychology for post master’s and doctoral clinicians with relevant background and experience.

The Graduate Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychology is designed to meet the need for education and training in assessment, intervention, and supervision within a broad psychoanalytic model. The curriculum provides a firm grounding in major theoretical paradigms with special attention to those which are current and emerging.

Considerations
• Graduates of the Argosy University, Chicago Psychoanalytic Psychology certificate program will be prepared to work effectively within a psychoanalytic framework and begin additional training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy or psychoanalysis.
