Argosy University, Nashville Announces Scholarship Opportunities for Area High School Students

(NASHVILLE, TN – Mar. 28, 2013)  Argosy University, Nashville is pleased to announce its High School Scholarship Program, designed to provide high school seniors from Middle Tennessee additional access to careers and education in the fields of business and psychology. Through the program, qualified students may receive up to $20,000 in tuition scholarship funds to assist them in earning their bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the university. Forty scholarships will be made available for graduates entering the University in the Fall of 2013.

Students awarded a scholarship through the Argosy University, Nashville High School Scholarship program will receive a tuition scholarship totaling up to $20,000 total towards earning their bachelor’s and, subsequently, their master’s degree from the university in business or psychology fields. The scholarship is pro-rated on a per semester  basis through the length of both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Students must remain continuously enrolled, carry 15 credits each semester and achieve a 3.0 cumulative grade point average to maintain eligibility while completing the bachelor’s degree. Students must meet all admission requirements to move into the master’s degree program. Students in the master’s program must remain continuously enrolled, carry between 9 and 12 credits each semester and achieve at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average to maintain eligibility while completing the graduate program. The bachelor’s degree is designed to be completed in eight consecutive semesters and the master’s degree is desinged to be completed in three consecutive semesters.Both degree programs are designed to be completed after eleven consecutive semesters and the scholarship is applied in equal amounts over the eleven semesters. Should the student decide not to pursue the master’s program after completing the bachelor’s program, they would forfeit that portion of the scholarship designated for the master’s program.
