The Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology program is intended to continue the professional development of those currently working in, or desiring to, work in a counseling role.
Students are introduced to basic counseling skills that integrate individual, family and group theoretical foundations of professional counseling into appropriate client interaction and intervention skills. The program emphasizes the development of attitudes, knowledge, and skills essential in the formation of professional counselors who are committed to the ethical provision of quality services.
