(SARASOTA, Fla. – Sept. 6, 2013) Argosy University, Sarasota Professor of Practice Dr. Kevin Shriner’s manuscript, Late Registration: Continued Impact on Student Success has been accepted for publication in the Community College Journal of Research and Practice.
The Community College Journal of Research and Practice is a multidisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners in higher education and the behavioral and social sciences. It promotes an increased awareness of community college issues by providing an exchange of ideas, research, and empirically tested educational innovations. The journal is sponsored by the Bill J. Priest Center for Community College Education in association with the Higher Education Program at the University of North Texas.
In addition to his role at Argosy University, Shriner serves as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Research and Practice in K-20 Education and Lead Consultant for G. L. O. B. A. L. Decisions. He is a member of the American College Personnel Association, Association for Institutional Research, Association for the Study of Higher Education, Phi Alpha Theta, National History Honor Society and Southern Association for Institutional Research.
Shriner holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Arts in History from the University of Arkansas, a Bachelor of Science degree in Park Resource Management from Kansas State University and an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from Colby Community College.
