    Is Argosy University accredited?

    Is Argosy University a Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) member school?
    Argosy University is a member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC), a consortium of national higher education associations that functions in cooperation with the Department of Defense, the military services (including the National Guard), and the Coast Guard to help meet the voluntary higher education needs of service members.

    Do I have to pay an application fee?
    Argosy University waives the application fee for active-duty military personnel, veterans, and military spouses.

    Does Argosy University offer scholarships to military personnel?
    Argosy University offers the following scholarship to active-duty military personnel (Financial aid is available for those who qualify):

    • Argosy Military Scholarship – Reduces tuition to $250 per credit for undergraduate programs and a 20% reduction for graduate degree programs.

    Can I transfer my military training credits toward a degree at Argosy University?
    Students who wish to have their military experience and training evaluated for university credit should submit copies of appropriate forms to the registrar’s office.

    Argosy University accepts as transfer credit completion of formal military courses as recommended by the American Council on Education (ACE) when verified through official transcripts (Army/ACE registry Transcript System, Community College of the Air Force, Sailor/ Marine/ACE Registry Transcript, Registry of Credit Recommendations, or National Registry for Training Programs). Credit will be applied to a degree program upon the approval of the Chair of the Department from which the degree is to be awarded.

    If I am deployed or transferred, will I be able to continue my education later?
    Argosy University understands that military personnel are frequently deployed or transferred. If sudden deployments, relocations, or training missions interrupt your education, our military leave of absence policy allows you to take time off without financial or academic penalty. When your mission is complete, we are here for you. Your Argosy University advisor will help you get back on track to complete your degree.

    What is MyCAA?
    Argosy University is approved to participate in the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program. The program provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in Portable Career Fields.
