ARGOSY UNIVERSITY, DENVER ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF CAMPUS PRESIDENT

(DENVER, Col. – September 11, 2011)   Argosy University has announced the appointment of Richard Boorom, PhD to the position of President of its Denver campus.

As President of Argosy University, Denver, Boorom will ensure academic quality, operational effectiveness, human resource development, and the growth of the University’s Denver campus while participating in the development and execution of Argosy University’s vision and strategic direction.

“In partnership with the Argosy University, Denver faculty and staff, I look forward to serving the needs of our learners through the delivery of quality academic programs and superior student-focused services,” says Boorom.

Dr. Boorom brings more than twenty years of experience in higher education to the position, most recently having served as president of Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area campus. In addition, he has served as the Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer of Regis University, Denver and held numerous executive and leadership roles at both Regis University and at The Colorado Institute of Art.  He also served as the owner/proprietor of Boorom Consulting, an educational consulting firm with a client roster that included Washington State University, University of North Carolina, St. Louis University and Jones International University. 

Dr. Boorom holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an MS in Marketing from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mesa College. In addition, he is a graduate of the Institute for Management & Leadership in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
