ONTARIO, CA (August 20, 2012) -- Argosy University, Inland Empire adjunct professor in the College of Education, Dr. Paul Rodriguez, has been invited to present at the 2012 National Education Institute (NEI) conference in October of this year in Washington, D.C.
Rodriguez will present research about education in San Bernardino. His workshop, titled “A Study of Advanced Placement Calculus Programs in Selected High Schools in the County of San Bernardino, California. Unpublished.”
“Presenting at the NEI conference in October in Washington DC, provides me an opportunity to focus on the practical solutions to the challenges K-12 practitioners face with the shift to national standards and the implementation of new models for accountability,” says Dr. Rodriguez, who also serves as the assistant director for curriculum and instruction for grades 9-12 in the Montebello Unified School District.
The theme of the 21st Annual NEI is Educational Accountability and Teacher Evaluation: REAL Problems, PRACTICAL Solutions. The institute combines large group sessions featuring nationally recognized experts delivering keynote addresses with separate concurrent sessions featuring work from researchers, evaluators, and practitioners.
