Argosy University, Sarasota Program Chair Appointed to Post with Sarasota Board of County Commissioners

(SARASOTA, Fl. – June 4, 2012)   Argosy University, Sarasota College of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Program Chair, Dr. Lois Winchell, has been appointed to the Human Services Advisory Council for the Sarasota County Commission. Dr. Winchell will serve a three year term.

The Human Services Advisory Council provides a conduit for citizen input to the County Commissioners regarding Contracted Human Services and provides advice and makes recommendations to the commissioners on Human Services policy and funding. The Council has a total of 19 members who meet on a monthly basis.
