Bill Tignanelli, Senior Vice President, The Federal Reserve Bank, will speak at the university’s Arlington campus on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 3 – 5: 30 p.m. The event is open to the public and offered at no charge.
This session will discuss how current events shape and influence the economy. Incorporated will be discussion on price stability, inflation vs. deflation, interest rates and other general business indicators. Attendees will also learn about useful resources to review and follow to stay informed on the changing economy and how it impacts business and industry.
Bill Tignanelli has over 30 years of experience at the Federal Reserve Banks. He started his career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s Baltimore Branch. He has served as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager, and as the Fifth District representative to the Federal Reserve System’s Cash Advisory Group. Since 2005 has been at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Mr. Tignanelli has an Accounting degree from Towson University, a MBA from George Washington University, and he is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Maryland Bar.
