The Master of Arts in Education in Adult Education and Training program is designed for the working professional associated with adult learning, training, or staff development.
The goal of the Adult Education program is to enhance the knowledge and skills in the area of adult learning for employment and other organizational settings.
The Adult Education program is an excellent fit for those seeking to work as: a training specialist in business, government, and/or other private or public organizations; or an instructional specialist providing basic skills and/or specialized instruction for adult learners in community and educational settings.

The MAED in Educational Administration leads to the Texas Principal Certificate upon completion of all state and program requirements. The MA in School Psychology has been designed to meet the requirements found in the Texas Administrative Code for licensed Specialists in School Psychology. The decision to grant licensure rests solely with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and not Argosy University. Upon completion of the MA in School Psychology, students may apply to become Nationally Certified School Psychologists through the National Association of School Psychologists. All other programs offered through the College of Education DO NOT lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States. The programs offered through Argosy University – Online Programs, with the exclusion of the MAED in Educational Administration, DO NOT lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States regardless of the State in which the student resides.
The MAED in Educational Administration, the Ed.S. in Initial Educational Administration, the Ed.D. in Initial Educational Administration, the Ed.S. in Advanced Educational Administration, and the Ed.D. in advanced Educational Administration are approved by the Arizona Department of Education to lead to school administration licensure/certification upon completion of all program and state requirements. The MA in School Psychology and the PsyD in School Psychology are approved by the Arizona Department of Education to lead to school psychology licensure/certification upon completion of all program and state requirements. The programs offered through Argosy University Online Programs, with the exclusion of the MAED in Educational Administration, DO NOT lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States regardless of the State in which the student resides.
