Argosy University offers the Instructional Leadership degree program as a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) degree, Education Specialist (EdS) degree, or Doctor of Education (EdD) degree.
In the MAEd in Instructional Leadership program, students gain practical and academic skills in analysis, oral and written communication, problem solving, critical thinking, team-building, and computer technology.
The Instructional Leadership program is designed for students who wish to develop or enhance classroom skills and pursue careers as curriculum supervisors or become educational leaders with instruction as their main focus. A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is necessary for admission into this MAEd Instructional Leadership degree program.
The EdS program in Instructional Leadership focuses on core skills including comprehensive planning and implementation, curriculum theory and design, and comprehensive planning and implementation.
The EdD in Instructional Leadership degree program is for students who want to master teaching methodologies, become curriculum supervisors, or become educational leaders with curriculum and instruction as their main focus. Students are required to choose a concentration, which may include education technology, higher education, and K-12 education.
