Argosy University Programs

Psychology

For some careers, an associate’s degree in psychology is sufficient. Others may require additional skills that can be gained in bachelor’s degree programs.

Associate of Arts in Psychology

The Associate of Arts (AA) in Psychology degree program at Argosy University blends theory and practice with coursework in the liberal arts and psychology. The program’s curriculum helps students acquire a broad range of skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal communication, and explore career options in the field of psychology.

With an associate’s degree, students can enter careers such as social and human service assistant, personal and home care aide, psychiatric technician, social science research assistant, teacher assistant, and human resources assistant.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Our Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology program teaches students to build a broad, basic understanding of social sciences theory and application. Psychology students can learn communication skills, ethics, diversity, research methods, and critical thinking.

Students may come into the bachelor’s degree program with college credit from another psychology school, or may have no college experience. Graduates of our Psychology degree program are prepared to seek entry-level positions such as case manager, and human resources administrator.
