A significant challenge facing today’s P-12 schools is how to educate children with diverse learning needs.
If you are a general classroom teacher, a teacher’s aide, or a person who works to support the learning of students and want to build upon your knowledge and expertise in the areas of Instructional Assessment, Response to Intervention, Professional Development, or build your own concentration, Argosy University’s Teaching and Learning programs are for you.
This program prepares educators as change agents and leaders in the P-12 setting who engage actively in their communities, using appropriate pedagogy and technology to foster the development of global citizens. Students choose from one of four concentrations: Instructional Assessment, Response to Intervention, Professional Development, or a Customized Concentration where students select courses to build their own concentration.
Throughout this Teaching and Learning program, students complete field experiences in their schools. These field experiences are designed to weave together what they learn in their coursework with what they do in their classrooms to support and improve student learning. This program does not lead to certification or credential endorsement.
