Argosy's American School of Psychology offers graduate, post graduate, and doctoral degrees. Led by professors with years of experience and knowledge in their field, undergraduate students can develop a foundation in psychology while post-graduate and doctoral students expand and strengthen their knowledge. The fields of clinical psychology, industrial organizational psychology, counseling education, and marriage and family therapy are represented.
The College of Education programs focus on 3 main themes: Teaching and Learning, Educational Leadership, and School Counseling. Programs include specialist degrees as well as post-graduate and doctoral degrees. The education programs offered at through Argosy University, Tampa College of Education do not lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States.
The Teaching and Learning programs center on the fundamentals of learning and education, curriculum design, and teaching in today's schools. The Educational Leadership programs focus on leadership theory and practice, educational administration and management, and education laws. The School Counseling program explores behaviors, counseling, and guidance specifically in educational settings.
The College of Business provides certificate, post-graduate, and doctoral degree programs. Various aspects in the field of business can be explored such as Healthcare Administration, Educational Leadership, and International Business among many others. These programs are designed to deepen your understanding of the various challenges faced in professional business settings and to strengthen your collaborative and analytical skills.
Additional degree programs include Criminal Justice (B.S.) and Liberal Arts (B.A.). The Criminal Justice program stresses professional skills such as critical thinking, communication and research. The Liberal Arts program emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving while developing a global view and a strong educational foundation.
