The purpose of the Education Specialist (EdS) in Initial Educational Administration degree program at Argosy University, Denver is to prepare individuals to serve as school principals and/or building-level administrators. The program is designed for practicing educators who have already completed a graduate-level program from a regionally accredited institution or an appropriately certified foreign institution, and seeking administrative licensure at the initial or K-12 level.

B. Obtain, allocate, align, and efficiently utilize human, fiscal, and technological resources
C. Promote and protect the welfare and safety of students and staff
D. Develop the capacity for distributed leadership
E. Ensure teacher and organizational time is focused to support quality instruction and student learning

The first MAEd in Educational Administration, EdS in Initial Educational Administration, and EdD in Initial Educational Administration program cohorts began in January 2015.There is no licensure or employment information to disclose for graduates of the EdS in Initial Educational Administration or EdD in Initial Educational Administration programs. Over the past year, there were 9 graduate of Argosy University, Denver’s Master of Education in Educational Administration degree program. Of the admitted students, there is an average of 15.3% of student who graduated from the program in the five year time period while 89% of graduates actively seeking jobs are employed within 6 months of graduating. Approximately 22.2% of graduates acquired licensure, 22.2% are still working on completing the experiential prerequisites, and 55.6% did not respond to our request for information.
