About the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Degree at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area
The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a 60-credit hour degree program designed to help you build upon your master’s level competencies, skills, and knowledge. Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)*, the program consists of five research foundation courses, six core courses, four concentration courses, one elective course, and 12 credit hours of dissertation study.

The doctoral research segment of the Doctor of Business Administration program may focus on either traditional dissertation research or an applied business research project. In addition to a general DBA designation, the program offers concentration options in Management, Marketing, Accounting, and International Business. A customized professional concentration option for industry and academic professionals is also offered.

Scheduled to enable busy professionals to balance the demands of career, family, and school, coursework is offered in a blended format, with students studying online and meeting two weekends during each 7.5-week course. Students are taught and mentored by accomplished, award-winning faculty. Small class sizes and a diverse student body combine to create a stimulating, collaborative learning environment.
