What is MAP?
The Master’s Accelerated Plan (MAP) may help you reduce the number of semesters required to complete your master’s degree. Qualifying undergraduates are given the opportunity to take select graduate-level courses that count both towards your bachelor's and your master's program.
How Does It Work?
After completing between 60 and 105 undergraduate credits (or up to 90 credits for students transferring* to Argosy), Argosy University students may apply for acceptance into MAP. Once you've qualified, you will complete a minimum of 12 graduate course credits, in one of the areas established by the University that will apply towards your undergraduate electives.
What are the Benefits?
With MAP, you will get a taste of master's-level courses while completing your bachelor's degree. This may help reduce the number of semesters—and in turn, the tuition—required to complete your Master’s degree.
You'll also have networking opportunities, access to guest speakers, and will gain exposure to graduate faculty who have specialized credentials and experience**.
What are the Qualifications?
To meet the criteria for taking graduate-level courses, you must complete a special MAP application with the help of Admissions Representatives. Acceptance into MAP requires students who have a CGPA of at least “B” (3.0) and have completed between 60 and 105 credits are eligible to apply. Students who are applying to transfer to Argosy must meet all requirements for the MAP initiative in addition to the university's admissions requirements. These applicants may transfer from 60 to a maximum of 90 credits toward a bachelor's degree.
