Active community volunteer pursing additional degree in Public Management and Analysis

Argosy University, Online Programs graduate Christy Gillham has taken her passion for education at Argosy University and turned it into a career, guiding other students towards their education as an admissions representative for the university.

Gillham completed her degree while working full-time. “I know first-hand what a challenge it can be to attend school and work full-time. There is nothing more rewarding or fulfilling than helping people to achieve their educational goals – not only does this impact their lives but the lives around them.”

“Argosy University was able to asses my prior learning and past professional experiences and apply credits for that learning to my education at the university. It helped to reduce the cost and amount of time it took me to complete my degree,” says Gillham. “The faculty brought real-world experience to the classroom. You had an expert you could count on to provide the most up-to-date information, and a mentor that could share their familiarity with the field they were teaching you.”

With her bachelor’s degree under her belt, Gillham is now moving forward, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis on Public Management and Analysis at California State University, East Bay. She is an active community volunteer, spending her time contributing towards charitable organizations such as habitat for Humanity the Northern California Boxer Rescue and Children’s Hospital.
