Argosy University welcomes Dr. Nina Bell, Ph.D. as the new national program chair for the Master of Public Health program.
Dr. Bell joins us from Ashford University where she will continue to serve as a full-time assistant professor and chair of the bachelor’s in health education program. She is currently involved in various research projects including determining the effectiveness of online health promotion faculty in relation to their own personal health and risk behaviors. Dr. Bell previously worked in the field as a health educator and program developer, mainly focusing on children, nutrition and physical activity. She created a sports fitness program called W2W4Life (which means Way to Win for Life), which teaches proper nutrition for active play and introduces sports to children ages 13 and under.
She holds a master’s degree and PH.D. in public health from Walden University, a master’s diploma in organizational behavior from the University of London and a bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
