Argosy University, Atlanta students in the university’s Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction degree program may qualify for an in-field certification upgrade

Argosy University, Atlanta is pleased to announce that state of Georgia educators graduating from the university’s Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction degree program may qualify for an in-field certification upgrade, according to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). The EdD Curriculum and Instruction degree has been reviewed by the GaPSC and now appears in the Certificate Upgrade Advisor. Prior to enrolling in the program, students are encouraged to consult with the GaPSC to be sure that they meet the criteria for a certification upgrade.

The program is designed to provide advanced education to those professionals focused on the educational field of curriculum and instruction. The university is currently enrolling students in the program for the fall 2017 semester.

The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction degree program is designed to prepare educators as change agents and leaders in the P-12 setting who engage actively in their communities, using appropriate pedagogy and technology to foster the development of global citizens.

The program has a flexible learning format in the form of evening, weekend and online courses so that students can continue their education while keeping their current job. Coursework is designed to develop valuable teamwork and interpersonal skills alongside academic learning for career development. The university offers an array of career services and advisors to help graduates reach their career and employment goals.
