Dr. Scott Pytluk, a professor at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Chicago was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) of the American Psychological Association in the position of Member-at-Large.
Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) represents, within the broad field of psychology, professionals who identify themselves as having a major commitment to the study, practice and development of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
Founded in 1979, the Division of Psychoanalysis is the 39th division of APA with more than 3,000 doctoral level psychologists, graduate students and allied mental health professionals. It is one of the largest associations of psychoanalytic professionals and scholars in the world.
