Argosy University, Chicago Student to Give Presentation at Support Learning and Technology in Education Conference

Mfon Jacob Akpan, who is working toward a Doctor of Business Administration in Business Administration degree at Argosy University, Chicago, will be giving two presentations at the Support Learning and Technology in Education (SLATE) 2016 Conference. The SLATE conference will take place October 19 – 21 in Naperville, Illinois. The presentations are: 

  • Up Periscope – exciting ways to use the periscope application in the classroom
  • How the blackboard calendar feature promotes and enhances student success

Mfon Jacob Akpan is a member of the business faculty at National Louis University. He completed his undergraduate degree at Illinois Institute of Technology and earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of management. He has presented at numerous regional conferences and at the annual meeting of the American Accounting Association.

Established in the Spring of 2002, SLATE was created from the concept that all institutions that are deploying and/or currently using technology and Web-based components to enhance their teaching and learning activities, have the same questions, the same challenges, and the need for the same solutions.
