Argosy University, Dallas Celebrates Inaugural Pinning Ceremony for RN to BSN Students

Recently, Argosy University, Dallas hosted its inaugural Nursing Pinning Ceremony. The event celebrated the degree completion of the school’s 2016 Bachelor of Science in Nursing cohort.

Dr. Brian McAulay, campus president, opened the ceremony. Dr. Kristin Benson of the College of Health Sciences, presented congratulatory remarks to the audience. Finally, Dr.  Debra Logan, program chair for the RN to BSN nursing program, presented candidates with a newly-designed Argosy University nursing pin following a presentation on the origin of nursing pins.

Six celebrants, representing 78 years of nursing practice, were pinned to signify the rights and responsibilities of a baccalaureate nurse continuing in the profession.
