(Denver, November 2015) Dr. Evelyn DeLaCruz has been recognized as one of three finalists for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year award. Dr. DeLaCruz, who serves as the department chair for the College of Arts & Sciences at Argosy University, Denver, joined the campus in 2007 as a member of the admissions department. She worked with that team until she completed her graduate degree in 2015 with a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, Denver.
The Young Professionals Award recognizes the efforts of an outstanding Colorado young professional woman who demonstrates significant accomplishments in her career and has contributed to the business community. This emerging leader pursues excellence and possesses leadership qualities, creativity, and demonstrates role model qualities. Additionally, she works to improve the quality of life of others through community service. To be eligible, a candidate must be a professional woman working in Colorado and must be 39 years of age or younger.
