Argosy University, Hawaii students and staff recently participated in the annual “A Taste of Kalihi,” sponsored by the Filipino Chamber of Commerce. The community event includes games, rides, refreshments, entertainment, and vendor booths. Its mission is to promote unity within Kalihi and revitalize an often overlooked community, bringing people together for a day of celebration.
Two Argosy University, Hawaii students and one staff member volunteered to assist with the day’s events. A portion of the event’s proceeds fund scholarships for local high school seniors, as awarded by the Filipino Chamber of Commerce.
