In October 2016, 18 students, faculty, and staff members from Argosy University, Hawaii walked in the 22nd Annual Men’s March Against Violence. The walk started at the state capitol and ended at Honolulu Hale, with a motivational rally designed to raise awareness for the pervasive issue of domestic violence in Hawaii and beyond. More than 1,000 people participated in the event.
The Men’s March Against Violence is an annual event that takes a stand against domestic violence, and features a short march and rally in support of non-violence. While men are asked to march, the community at-large is urged to support and attend the rally, which immediately follows the march and features motivational speakers.
