Argosy University, Hawaii held a fundraiser to support disaster relief efforts throughout the state. In just three hours, the campus was able to raise $2,222 for “Aloha for Hawaii,“ in support of the Salvation Army’s work on Kauai and the Big Island.
Volunteers from the university, First Hawaiian Bank and 102.7 Da Bomb helped to make the fundraiser, held in Tamarind Park, a success. The school also raised money through a bake sale – proceeds of which were donated to students and graduates impacted by the volcanic activity on the Big Island.
The efforts make the KHON2 news. See the story here.
