(Fontana, September 2015) Argosy University, Inland Empire partnered with Fontana Unified School District as part of National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. On Tuesday, September 1, Executive Committee and Chief Academic Officers from Argosy University, Inland Empire visited Fontana High School to discuss suicide prevention and education efforts. Fontana High School, along with the Active Minds chapter members from Argosy and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Council members led a rally during lunch breaks.
The faculty at Argosy University has been visiting their campus weekly to provide education, awareness and resources to students. The students were invited to create a video diary regarding their thoughts and concerns about suicide.
