Join Argosy University, in partnership with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, for a film workshop* on Living with Bipolar Disorder.
Living with Bipolar Disorder is a 40-minute film which offers an understanding of bipolar disorder with the help of stories from people who have been treated and manage the mental health condition daily. Narrated by Dr. Joseph Calabrese, professor of psychiatry at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, he gives viewers a better understanding of the complexity of the illness, from diagnosis to treatment to recovery.
“By introducing real people living with bipolar disorder and showing that they can live happy, productive lives with treatment and support, we believe this film will encourage those who are struggling to seek help.”
— AFSP Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christine Moutier
After watching the film, viewers will hear from our guest speaker, Regina Poynter, who will speak further on her experience living with bipolar disorder.
