Argosy University, Nashville was proud to participate in and sponsor this year’s Tennessee Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Conference.
Dr. Robert Moore, Argosy University, Nashville instructor, presented a supervision training at the conference while Dr. Marisa White, Argosy University, Nashville instructor, presented a session on “The Advocate Within You – Why Ethics Matter.” Alumni and current students presented at the conference as well on subjects such as diversity issues in therapy, overcoming barriers in developing a therapeutic alliance when working with children and a host of poster presentations.
Campus President Dr. Roger Widmer presented the TLPCA scholarship award to Katy Worley who will begin the Doctor of Education in Counselor Education & Supervision degree program at the campus next year.
Dr. Marisa White received the Susan Hammonds White Leadership and Advocacy Award from TLPCA.
Argosy was a platinum sponsor of the TLPCA luncheon also sponsored a break session at the conference and had an information table set up in the break area at the conference for people to learn more about the university and the campus.
