Argosy University, Phoenix PsyD and EdS programs in School Psychology recognized by National Association of School Psychologists

The Doctor of Psychology and Education Specialist in School Psychology programs at Argosy University, Phoenix have been approved/recognized by the National Association of School Psychologists for a period of five to seven years. The programs are recognized through the next Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation accreditation decision. This is the maximum amount of time that a program can be recognized for.

 

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) is a professional association that represents more than 25,000 school psychologists, graduate students, and related professionals throughout the United States and 25 other countries. The world's largest organization of school psychologists, NASP works to advance effective practices to improve students' learning, behavior, and mental health.

 

The National Association of School Psychologists' (NASP) Program Accreditation Board provides a review and approval service to graduate programs in school psychology. NASP program approval is part of the association's commitment to serving the mental health and educational interests of all children and youth by promoting the preparation of competent professionals in accordance with the Standards for Graduate Preparation of School Psychologists.
