Argosy University, Salt Lake City honored for Fifth Consecutive Year in Best of State Awards

(Salt Lake City, June 2015)  Argosy University, Salt Lake City was awarded a medal for curriculum development in the education category at the Utah Best of State awards.

The Best of State Awards were created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah. By recognizing excellence in the community and sharing examples of success and triumph in so many worthy endeavors, the organization, “hopes all will be inspired to reach a little higher, to try a little harder, and to work a little smarter for their dreams and goals,” according to its Web site.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the campus has been honored in the education category by Best of State. Past awards include:

  • 2011 – Student of the Year
  • 2012 – Curriculum Development and Administrator of the Year
  • 2013 – Student of the Year, Adjunct Instructor of the Year and Administrator of the Year
  • 2014 – Student of the Year  

The Best of State judges sought out individuals, businesses, and organizations that excel in their endeavors, use innovative approaches or methods and contribute to a better quality of life in Utah. According to the Best of State organization, candidates make Utah a better place. Community service, charitable contributions (financial or goods and services), family-friendly employment policies, environmentally sound practices or policies, increased employment opportunities, community beautification, education, contribution to a strong economy, and cultural contributions are just a few ways people and organizations make Utah a better place to live and work.
