Argosy University, Salt Lake City Supports Christmas Box House

(Salt Lake City, October 2015)  The admissions team at Argosy University, Salt Lake City joined forces to support the Christmas Box House in Salt Lake City this week.

The Christmas Box Houses, also known as "emergency children's shelters," were built in three Utah cities: Salt Lake City, Ogden and Moab. The Christmas Box Houses offer children shelter and food, as well as on-site therapy, medical and dental evaluations, and recreational activities.

Each of the three houses serve the communities in unique ways, a reflection of the carefully cultivated partnerships in each region the houses serve. The Salt Lake Christmas Box House serves children in Salt Lake and Utah Counties through a partnership with the Salt Lake County Division of Youth Services.

The Christmas Box International provides assistance to prevent child abuse and services to improve the quality of life for children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned.

Argosy University, Salt Lake City:

  • Donated supplies and bins to the house
  • Decorated the facility to bring Halloween fun
  • Spent the day organizing toys, clothing and shoes for children in need.
