(San Francisco, December 2015) Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area hosted a “Small Business Think Tank” event facilitated by the Alameda Chamber of Commerce. Christine Williams, campus president, was on hand to welcome attendees to this six hour symposium.
The first part of the symposium focused on three businesses that were selected from a pool of applicants to present to the Think Tank professional panel. Director of Administration and Financial Services for Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area, Michael Toliver, is a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and was part of the panel. The panel provided advice and insight for local business owners including free counseling. After a networking lunch, panelists led a business education workshop focused on strategic planning, marketing and financial considerations. The Think Tank is one of the many ways the campus is involved with the local chamber.
