Dr. Suprina Gives Tips on Reducing Holiday Stress for SELF

Joffrey S. Suprina, Ph.D., dean of theCollege of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences at Argosy University, was recently interviewed by Self Magazine regarding dealing with holiday stress. In the article, Suprina said that "stress is common during the holidays because we have additional demands on our resources, like our time, energy, and finances. For most, it is not one single thing but the combination of demands that pushes us to our limit." He also provided tips on how to avoid stress to make the holidays more enjoyable.

Dr. Suprina has held leadership positions in the field with the Southeastern Association of Counselor Education and Supervision, Association for Lesbian, Gay Bisexual & Transgender Issues in Counseling, and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling.
