Argosy University, Sarasota to host continuing education workshop on the opioid epidemic
Argosy University, Sarasota announces its first workshop in a continuing education series for professional counselors. The workshop, titled “Addiction: The Opiate Epidemic,” will take place on November 9 and is hosted by the Argosy University, Sarasota College of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences.
Join us for this informative workshop on the ever increasing opioid addiction epidemic. The workshop has been approved for three continuing education units through the National Board for Certified Counselors and is offered at no cost to participants.

10:45 - 12:00 Session II | Communities in Crisis: A Panel Perspective - Perspectives on the scope of the problem in our community. Panel members include: Bob Piper - CEO, First Step Sarasota, Tim Speth, Detective Sarasota Police Department, Jonathan Boyd, substance abuse counselor at DACCO.
