Argosy University, Seattle Enters into Articulation Agreement to Benefit Students At Green River and Cascadia Community Colleges

SEATTLE, WA (May 26, 2013) -- Green River and Cascadia community colleges have outlined articulation and transfer agreements with Argosy University, Seattle that will benefit graduates of those community colleges, allowing them to transfer or articulate credits earned into a bachelor’s degree at Argosy University, Seattle.
“As a graduate of the Seattle community college system, I know first-hand the value and importance of our community college system and the need to provide community college students with further educational opportunities,” says Argosy University, Seattle campus president, Dr. Tom Dyer. “This agreement helps these students to reduce the total cost of their education and time to completing their bachelor’s degree at Argosy University in the field of Criminal Justice, Psychology or Business Administration.”

Students from both community colleges who have completed an associate’s degree, who have been awarded such a degree, and who have maintained a minimum 2.0 GPA will be considered for admission into bachelor’s degree programs at Argosy University, Seattle. If the student is accepted for admission, they will enter the university with junior standing, provided that all courses included in the degree carry a grade of “C” or better.
