Recently, instructors from the Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology program at Argosy University, Twin Cities “lent a paw” to animals in need. Dr. Mary Jo Wagner, Dr. Julie Hansen, Serene Abrahams, and Michelle Lake Labelle helped Leech Lake Legacy Animal Rescue tend to the animals in their care. The four volunteers from Argosy University, Twin Cities assisted 73 wellness patients and looked after an additional 27 rescue animals.

Leech Lake Legacy is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers Native American communities, including members of the Leech Lake Tribe, to enrich the lives of animals by providing resources and sharing information.
