Argosy University, Washington, DC Chi Sigma Iota Induction

(Arlington, September 2015)  On Tuesday, September 29, Argosy University, Washington, DC held 12th Annual Chi Sigma Iota Sigma Phi Sigma Chapter Induction Ceremony. The guest speaker was Dr. Catherine Roland, who is currently serving as the president-elect of the American Counseling Association.  Thirty students from Argosy University, Washington, DC were inducted into the honor society.

Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society for professional counseling. It was established for counselors-in-training, counselor educators, and professional counselors whose career commitment is to research and service through professional counseling. Its mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership, and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.

Catherine Roland, Ed.D. is currently the Chair at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Counseling Program in Washington, DC Campus, a nonprofit, private university in psychology, and related behavioral and health sciences. She is a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey and Arkansas, and a National Certified Counselor. Dr. Roland has been in private practice for 30 years and has worked at the university level for the past 24 years.
