Dr. Suzana E. Flores, a staff psychologist at Arizona State University, is the author of Amazon.com best-seller Facehooked: How Facebook Affects Our Emotions, Relationships, and Lives. Dr. Flores studied people’s relationships with Facebook for over three years and talked with individuals across the world to learn about their social media use. She investigated how social media impacted self-worth, social interactions, the need for validation, cyberbullying, and even Facebook addiction.

Dr. Flores’ social media research made her a sought-after keynote speaker and media resource. As a staff psychologist at Arizona State University, she provides individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, social media awareness, coaching and workshop training, and pain management training to students and athletes. In 2003, she earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Chicago. She also holds a Masters in Counseling from Loyola University.
