Dr. Suzana E. Flores, a staff psychologist at Arizona State University, is the author of Amazon.com best-seller Facehooked: How Facebook Affects Our Emotions, Relationships, and Lives. Dr. Flores studied people’s relationships with Facebook for over three years and talked with individuals across the world to learn about their social media use. She investigated how social media impacted self-worth, social interactions, the need for validation, cyberbullying, and even Facebook addiction.
